Easter Animal Survey Friday 14 April to Monday 17 April
Easter Animal Survey
If interested in volunteering for this event please ring Anne Schmidli 5156 2579.
The Field Naturalists Club of Victoria and the Bairnsdale Field Naturalists will be surveying for native animals on Boole Poole at Easter using cage traps. One animal they expect to catch is Pygmy Possum.
Parks Vic have given permission for vehicles on Boole Poole for the purposes of the survey. The Field Nats will have three vehicles and one trailer. Parks Vic have made a vehicle available for FOGL members if they wish to be involved.
The Field Nats will be camping on Boole Poole from Friday 14 April to Monday 17 April. Our knowledgeable Rangers & FOGL members Joe Stephens and Yasmin Aly will be in attendance on Good Friday. This should be a real educational adventure at a beautiful time of year so get in early to be involved.
