{"id":198,"date":"2010-04-08T21:10:23","date_gmt":"2010-04-08T11:10:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fogl.org.au\/?p=198"},"modified":"2010-08-24T16:01:13","modified_gmt":"2010-08-24T06:01:13","slug":"around-the-edge-with-fogl-at-egag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fogl.org.au\/home\/blog\/around-the-edge-with-fogl-at-egag\/","title":{"rendered":"Around the Edge with FOGL at EGAG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the assistance of the Friends of the Gippsland Lakes Parks and Reserves (FOGL) the East Gippsland Art Gallery (EGAG) presented a major exhibition titled Around the Edge with FOGL in May.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fogl.org.au\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/lisarobertsl800.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fogl.org.au\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/lisarobertsl800-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"The edge, Tambo Bluff - Lisa Roberts\" class=\"alignleft\" \/><\/a>Established local artists working in a range of media were invited to participate in a gallery-based exhibition with works that reflect their inspiration and response to the various environments surrounding the Gippsland Lakes.<\/p>\n<p>Some artists were invited to create specific works at sites identified by FOGL.<\/p>\n<p>Around the Edge with FOGL offered the community an alternative vision of the Lakes and the surrounding Parks and Reserves.
