We currently meet around once a month in the relaxing atmosphere at the Book Nook Cafe <\/a> 147 MacLeod St in Bairnsdale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members are advised of exact meeting times via email. We also advertise our meetings on our Facebook page.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always have serious business to discuss, but also like to keep a social side to our meetings. The Cafe has great coffee and lunches. We generally meet at 1pm and some members get together and enjoy lunch or cofee beforehand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone is welcome to come to our meetings. If you want to know when our next meeting is just email us at contactfogl@gmail.com <\/a> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to raise a particular subject, please mention that in the email so we can put it on the Agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, we hope you like what you see and want to become a FOGL Member<\/a>. You can join up online or at the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water Testing Picnics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We have water testing combined with a picnic lunch at the Tambo Bridge, Swan Reach generally on the second or third Sunday each month. Anyone interested is invited to see what we do. We announce the time and date on Facebook and via email. If you want to know when the next water testing is, please email us at contactfogl@gmail.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We participate in shows and festivals<\/strong> around East Gippsland to promote the Lakes. ( depending on volunteer and resources available ). If you are running an event and would like to include a display or talk on the Gippsland Lakes, please contact us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also host events in conjunction with other organisations such as Marine Mammal Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
