Our members are people of all skills and backgrounds including waterways managers, ecologists, scientists, engineers, educators, artists and historians. We also greatly acknowledge and heed the wisdom and desires of traditional owners. in a <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-green-color\">positive and co-operative approach<\/mark><\/strong> to achieving great outcomes for the Lakes, based on<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-green-color\"> data and science<\/mark> <\/strong>as well as <strong>traditional values<\/strong> and <strong>local knowledge.<\/strong> We work with the <a href=\"https:\/\/fogl.org.au\/home\/agencies-and-authorities-managing-the-lakes\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1387\">multitude of agencies<\/a> who manage the Lakes, as well as local communities, traditional owners, landowners and primary industry, to effect positive changes in practices and attitudes and achieve a &#8220;win win&#8221; result for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">I want to support the Gippsland Lakes. What can I do ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">We are all volunteers and relies on membership fees, grants and donations to fund our activities.
