A joint Friends of the Gippsland Lakes Parks and Reserves (FoGL) and Eagle Point Paynesville Landcare Coastcare Group Planting Day will be held on Sunday 5 August 10am-12noon.

The location is on the South arm of the Silt Jetties where FOGL members have been involved over recent years. The previous plantings are progressing well and it’s a good time to plant some more as part of National Tree Day activities.

Please wear appropriate clothing (hat, covered shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants recommended), gloves, insect repellent, water bottle, hammer and if required a thermos for a cuppa.

The site is just past the end of the bitumen on Silt Jetties Road and a FOGL sign will be on display.

Please RSVP your attendance to Hilary Rigg via the Planet Ark National Tree Day web site >> here
